If you’re quilting this yourself, take your time and choose a quilting design that suits both the quilt and your confidence level. Quilting a larger project on a domestic machine can be done, but it can also be hard work.

The biggest quilt I’ve quilted on a domestic machine was my Frozen Blooms quilt. It took two full days, and I was sore for days afterwards. 

So if you get to this stage and decide you’d rather not wrestle it through your own machine, that is completely understandable.
