Print and cut your templates before cutting the background and petal fabric pieces — see the pattern's template sheets for exact piece counts and sizes.


Tips for Curved Piecing

  • Curved piecing isn’t as hard as it looks — trust your layout!
  • Use Wonder Clips to hold curves if pinning isn’t your style.
  • Don’t stretch the bias edges — let the fabric guide the shape.
  • Match centre points, then pin outward.
  • Press gently and slowly; the curve will naturally settle.

So whether you're making your very first Frozen Blooms or revisiting it with new fabrics, I hope you enjoy the curves, and give this pattern a go, the piecing, is easier then it looks.

Materials: 
  • 4.2 yds background fabric, 
  • 3/4 yard petal fabric, 
  • ½ yd binding fabric (7 × 2 1/4" strips), 
  • 1 5/8" strip of centre square, 
  • 75" × 75" piece of batting and backing.
